The Women’s Squad

Our Women’s team plays an important role in the club and continues to grow each season. The squad brings together players with a wide range of experience, all working to improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the social and competitive sides of rugby. Training focuses on core fundamentals, fitness, and game understanding, with coaches providing clear guidance and encouragement for every player.

Sessions are structured but welcoming, and every player is supported to progress at their own pace. The group works hard on the pitch and enjoys being part of a close and friendly team culture off it. Whether you want to compete regularly or simply enjoy an active and social environment, the Women’s squad is a great place to be involved.

Yes. New players are welcome to attend a free taster session so you can meet the team, try the training environment, and see if the squad is the right fit for you.

No. We welcome all experience levels, including complete beginners and returning players. Coaches will support you at your pace and help you settle into the squad.

Basic sports kit, boots suitable for grass, and a gumshield for contact drills. A water bottle and warm layers for colder evenings are also recommended.

Training includes both non-contact drills and contact work, with player safety prioritised at all times.

That is absolutely fine. Many players start with little or no experience, and coaches will help you build confidence step by step.
