Men’s Rugby
Our Senior Men’s squad represents MKRUFC in competitive league rugby and brings together players from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. The team focuses on strong core skills, game understanding, and a positive training environment that supports both new and returning players. With a welcoming culture and a clear development pathway, the Men’s squad offers the chance to play competitive rugby while being part of a strong community.
Women’s Rugby
The Women’s team is one of the fastest growing areas of the club, offering a friendly and supportive space for players of all abilities. Whether you are completely new to the sport or looking to develop your game, the squad provides enjoyable training sessions that focus on confidence, teamwork, and developing fundamental skills. The team plays an active role in club life and welcomes new players throughout the season.
Touch Rugby
Touch Rugby is a fast, inclusive and enjoyable way to play the game without contact. It suits all fitness levels and ages and is ideal for beginners, social players, or those looking to stay active in a friendly, relaxed environment. Sessions focus on movement, ball handling, teamwork, and fun, with no tackling involved. Everyone is welcome to join and play at their own pace.
Academy (U13 – U18) Rugby
Our Academy programme supports players aged 13 to 18 as they progress through the junior pathway and prepare for senior rugby. Training builds on core skills, strength and conditioning basics and game understanding, giving young players the confidence and structure they need to develop. Coaches work closely with the Men’s and Women’s squads to ensure a smooth transition into senior rugby when ready.
Minis & Juniors Rugby
The Minis and Juniors section is the foundation of the club and introduces young players to rugby in a fun, positive and safe environment. Through age-appropriate coaching, children learn teamwork, respect, and the core skills of the game. Sessions are designed to build confidence, encourage enjoyment, and create a strong sense of belonging for both players and families.
